    How the 1-Step challenge works

You open a 1-Step challenge account at a chosen size and trade on Match-Trader until you reach the 10% profit target. There is no second phase: once the target is hit and the other rules are respected, you request the move to funded in the dashboard and it is reviewed, usually within 24 business hours. You keep the same account and login, reset to the starting balance for the funded stage.

The max daily loss is 3%, calculated from the higher of balance or equity at 00:00 UTC minus the fixed percentage of your original balance, and resets every day at 00:00 UTC. The max total loss is 6%, a static number from your starting balance that does not move as you bank profits.

    Minimum trading days and consistency

The 1-Step challenge requires 3 qualifying trading days, meaning 3 days with at least 0.5% net realized profit each. These days do not need to be consecutive, and the rule applies during the challenge and on the funded account.

At payout time only, a consistency rule checks that no single day accounts for more than 30% of your total profit. If your total profit is $5,000, no more than $1,500 of that can come from one day. Each day counts with the highest net profit it reached, even if you gave part of it back later. If one day is too large, nothing is lost: you keep trading until your total profit is big enough for that day to fit.

No time limit, trade at your pace

There is no expiry on the 1-Step challenge or the funded account that follows. You decide how fast or slow to reach the target. An account only ends if you breach a loss limit or a rule: it is then closed, and you can start again with a new one. The Trader tier of the rewards program includes one free retry after a failed challenge.

    Funded account terms

Once funded, the 1-Step profit split starts at 80%, upgradable to up to 95% at checkout. Payouts can be requested in Match-Trader on demand, with a minimum of 3 qualifying trading days since your last payout, paid by bank transfer or crypto within 24 hours. If a payout takes longer than that, you keep 100% of the profit split for it.

A scaling plan applies on the funded account: make 12% profit in a 3-month period and your balance grows by 25% of the starting balance, repeating up to $10,000,000 in total capital.

    Trading conditions

Trading happens on Match-Trader, a browser-based platform that also offers a TradingView chart layout. Leverage is 1:100 (1:5 on crypto), and you can trade forex, indices, commodities and crypto, including 24/7 crypto and overnight or weekend positions.

News trading is fully allowed during the challenge. On the funded account, the default rule blocks opening or closing trades 5 minutes before and after high-impact news and FOMC events; trades inside that window don't breach the account, but profits from them are removed. An optional News Trading upgrade at checkout removes this lockout for the whole account, including the funded phase.

Hedging on the same account is allowed, EAs, trade copiers and copy trading are allowed (copy trading only between accounts under the same legal holder), stop loss is not mandatory, and martingale is not allowed.

    Worked example: $100K 1-Step

A trader buys a $100,000 1-Step challenge for 735€ and trades toward the profit target.

    Starting balance
    $100,000
    Profit target (10%)
    $110,000
    Max total loss floor (6%)
    $94,000
    Max daily loss
3% of original balance, reset at 00:00 UTC
    Minimum trading days
    3 qualifying days

Equity must stay at or above $94,000 at all times, and the daily floor moves each day based on balance or equity at 00:00 UTC minus 3% of $100,000.

    Who the 1-Step challenge suits

    • Traders who want one evaluation phase instead of two
    • Traders comfortable with a 3% daily loss limit in exchange for a single pass/fail step
    • Traders who already have a tested strategy and want fewer rule checkpoints before funding
    • Traders scaling up from a 2-Step account who want a faster path on their next challenge
